The yellow flowers and thirst quencher outside the window

When you look more closely at the greenery outside the windows from a design point of view, you tend to notice the unique shapes and forms. So the first thing that I slotted into my camera's frame was a curving branch.

The friendly wave outside the window

My daily friend, the squirrel, as usual came chattering up the tree trunk outside my windows. So naturally got a quick entry into my photo frame. Then, later, caught it waving its tail up and down, up and down...

The canopy of trees outside the window

Today I decided I would not focus on anything in particular so simply opened the window of my balcony and took a single picture of the greenery outside. It wasn't a bad photo!

The beaming sun outside my window

After a day's lull when I just could not come up with something noteworthy for this blog, the bright, beaming sun came into my frame the next day. It twinkled and sprayed rays all over the tree outside my window, and blessed the crow's next as well.

Getting to know what is outside my window

It was Day 20, 13th April 2020. I didn't quite know what exactly to aim at to capture photos for this day's post. So I took a break and decided to update information on the species of birds that I have been putting up with no clue of their names! I had earlier initiated a forum thread at ISC and then directly contacted Dr Deepali, an ecology and biodiversity expert who responded to the thread.

The swift bird outside my window

The lockdown has been extended - so more photo opportunities for this project! Nowadays I switch on my mobile phone and put it on camera mode to quickly click something. Today that action paid off, with a most unusual bird hopping around in the compound of the adjacent building. I recall seeing this particular species about a year ago I think and at that time too I was fascinated by its unusual tail. I have just called it a swift bird due to its short, quick darts here and there.

The vegetables outside my window

Today I am so happy! I am up to date on this photo-project. It was also sweet music to the ears of local residents to hear the sound of weighing scales - the vegetable seller had arrived. So out came my mobile phone to frame the much-needed vegetables.
