The asbestos awnings below my window

You may have seen those outcroppings in buildings, where the flats have these asbestos sheets sloping over their windows. These man-made 'roofs' are not for just for the purpose of acting as sun shades and to keep out the sheets of heavy rain during the monsoon. They also catch things which people with no civic sense throw out of their windows from above.
